Thrilling Third Thursdays

This Thursday, May 21, kitchen witch has been invited to participate in a Willistown Township event at Greentree Park in Malvern, PA.  The township is hosting “Thrilling Third Thursdays,” a summer-long series of Thursday evenings at the park, put on once a month on–you guessed it–the third Thursday of every month through August.  The events start at 5:30 pm and run until 7:30 pm.

This Thursday will feature magic and puppet shows, along with four food vendors: coffee, water ice, hoagies and COOKIES!  Actually, the weather keeps promising to reach the mid-eighties on Thursday so I am taking my classic chocolate chip cookies and turning them into ice cream sandwiches.  This is something my husband has perfected on his own with my freshly baked cookies, and with hot weather I think it will go over really well.

The cookies start out like this:
