The Painted Lily
In honor of the upcoming Malvern Blooms Home and Garden Show, I am featuring a local vendor and fellow Etsy shop owner. Jenny, of The Painted Lily, will be gracing this year’s festival with some of her original artwork. In a sea of jewelery and handbags, I believe her one-of-a-kind designs will really stand out. Plus, I think she offers an affordable price point for beautiful fine art. Who can’t use a little more beauty in her life?
Most of Jenny’s work involves a “technique that incorporates both hand pieced and digital collage.” The resulting pieces have a kaleidescope feel, blending vintage themes with modern sensibility. As she says on her Etsy shop, “(m)y pieces make me want to live passionately and beautifully in the present, without forgetting the past, and I hope they do the same for you.”
Take a look!
And some home goods:
And hidden away on her last page of goodies, this treasure, which I think would make a great hostess gift or Mother’s Day gift.
Check out her Etsy site, and if you’re in the area, stop by Malvern, PA on April 26th, 2009 between 10am and 5 pm and meet Jenny in person! While you’re at it, grab a cookie, brownie or scone from the kitchen witch, too.

I’m looking forward to Malvern Blooms and excited to check both of your goodies out! Thanks for the tip
